First Baptist Church maintains an active prayer ministry. Prayer requests are gathered during Sunday Morning Worship and Sunday School. These requests are given to the staff and if so desired, can be shared each week on our Wednesday night prayer list for the congregation at large. The staff prays for the needs of the congregation during their staff meeting on Monday afternoons. 

Everyone is invited to prayer at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings to pray for our church, our community, and our country. Also, a prayer room is active each Sunday during Sunday Morning Worship from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. with a prayer team who prays for requests collected during the service and all other known issues for prayer. At the end of the service, the day's prayer team moves to the front of the sanctuary and is available to pray with any one interested. Prayer benches are also available at the front of the church of individual prayer.
