Love's many forms: Joy is love exalted; peace is love in repose; long-suffering is love enduring; gentleness is love in society; goodness is love in action; faith is love on the battlefield; meekness is love in school; and temperance is love in training. —D.L. Moody
Thank You “Submerged” VBS Volunteers
This was a great year for Vacation Bible School. We had over 50 volunteers and even more said to call then if they were needed. Nicole Hedden and Erika Smith organized VBS so that it ran very smoothly, and all the children had fun while learning about Jesus and the Bible. We look forward to next year when we will once again encourage children to follow Jesus every day. Even as adults, we must “Submerge” ourselves in the Bible, going deep to find God’s truth.
1. SERMON SERIES: THE INDWELLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, #7 “The Holy Spirit’s Help,” Romans 8:26-27.

3. July 4th FELLOWSHIP
You are invited to an Independence Day Barbecue! Join us for a July 4th Fellowship on Sunday, July 3, at 11:30 AM in the Family Life Center to celebrate the holiday. We will hold an abbreviated Modern worship service at 11:15 AM. Sunday School classes are asked to allow their members some extra fellowship time in their classrooms, until 11:30 AM that Sunday, when we will reopen the doors to the multi-purpose room at the end of the later worship service. Then we will begin serving a delicious barbecue lunch. Reservations are not required but are requested to help us with planning. Call Paulette at 843-785-4478 to make your reservation. Donations will be gladly accepted for lunch. Come celebrate Independence Day with your church family!
4. CORE Parenting Summer Study in July
During the five Sunday evenings in July, Chuck and Tara Workman will lead a study called “Parenting with Kingdom Purpose: Having ‘Sticky Faith’,” in the Family Life Center from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. This study is free of charge and childcare will be available. We invite parents with children, parents planning on having children, parents whose children are parents, and those who just want to walk along with parents today. You can understand the point being made. This will be a time of great fellowship and teaching about walking through seasons of life. Please call Chuck Workman at (843) 415-3898 for information.
5. Tomorrow’s Gifts Today – Capital Campaign – Goal $200,000 - Investing Today for Tomorrow’s Church
